Our expertise covers various engineering materials, including Polycarbonate, Plexiglass, POM, ABS, Nylon, PET, PETG, PVC, and Aluminum.

Utilizing advanced computer-aided design and manufacturing software such as CAD, Solidworks, UG, CATIA, and CAM, our engineers collaborate closely with clients to design plastic components and develop cost-effective machining solutions tailored to their needs. Our manufacturing capabilities include CNC machining, vacuum forming, injection molding, 3D printing, cutting, bending, welding, printing, painting, polishing, and electroplating.

From Polycarbonate Raw Materials to Custom-Finished Parts

To further strengthen our supply chain, we established our own factory in 2007. Here, we produce high-quality polycarbonate sheets using raw materials sourced from industry leaders such as Sabic, Covestro/Bayer, MITSUBISHI, and TEIJIN. This vertical integration allows us to maintain strict quality control from raw material to finished part, while offering competitive pricing and reliable lead times. We also source polycarbonate sheets from Lexan and Makrolon based on specific client requirements.

As a leading manufacturer of polycarbonate sheets and fabrication service provider in China, we are committed to delivering high-quality plastic parts from prototyping through volume production. Today, we are proud to partner with over 1,200 clients across 56 countries worldwide, serving industries including aerospace, architecture, medical, automation, packaging, automotive, tourism, sign & display, electrical, and decoration.

Integrated Solution for Polycarbonate Plastic Machining and Fabrication Services

Wuxi Nalipu New Matenal Technoloay coltd. is one ofthe eariestcompanies in china to engage in pcshet production and Pc shet enraving proessing, With ich exerence inPC sheet engraving processing, advanced machines and sklled technology, we can process according to customer’s requirements, samples and drawings.PC solid sheet processing includes cuting, driling, bending, bonding, hot presing and other processing as well as maintaining specifitc angles and shapes.

Demand & Technical Requirement Docking

Conduct in-depth communication with customers to clarify core demands such as product application scenarios, dimensional accuracy, mechanical performance (e.g., impact resistance, heat resistance), and surface treatment requirements, and sort out technical parameters to form a preliminary demand document.

Select suitable polycarbonate raw materials (e.g., general-purpose PC, flame-retardant PC, reinforced PC) based on demand documents. Conduct performance tests (including tensile strength, bending modulus, and thermal deformation temperature) to ensure materials meet application standards.

Complete product structural design using CAD software. Combine polycarbonate’s machining characteristics (e.g., low cutting resistance, easy deformation when heated) to analyze the feasibility of processes such as cutting, drilling, and bending, and optimize the design to avoid machining defects.

Formulate a detailed machining process flow (determine the sequence of cutting, milling, drilling, etc.). Set reasonable machining parameters (e.g., cutting speed, feed rate, tool type) according to the selected PC material to ensure machining efficiency and precision.

Manufacture product prototypes using CNC machining, 3D printing, or other rapid prototyping technologies. Conduct dimensional inspection, assembly test, and performance simulation test on prototypes, and adjust the design and process based on test results.

Formal Machining & Real-Time Quality Monitoring

Start mass machining according to the confirmed process plan. Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines) for real-time monitoring of key dimensions and surface quality during the machining process to ensure product consistency.

Carry out targeted surface treatment according to product requirements, such as polishing (to improve smoothness), painting (to enhance aesthetics and corrosion resistance), silk-screen printing (to add logos or patterns), or coating (to improve scratch resistance).

For products that require assembly, assemble machined PC components with other parts (e.g., metal fittings, electronic components) according to assembly drawings. Conduct functional tests after assembly to ensure the product meets the designed functional requirements.

Conduct a comprehensive final inspection of finished products, including dimensional rechecking, appearance inspection, performance testing, and durability testing. For unqualified products, analyze the causes and carry out rework or scrapping to ensure only qualified products leave the factory.

Adopt shock-proof and scratch-proof packaging methods to protect products during transportation. Deliver products to customers on time according to the agreed delivery terms. Provide after-sales service, including technical consultation, product maintenance guidance, and handling of quality complaints, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Frequently Asked Questions

How tight a tolerance can you hold when machining polycarbonate?

With NAILIPU, you can achieve min. tolerances of ±0.01mm for high-precision polycarbonate machining.

The maximum part size is process-dependent. For cutting, we can handle sheets up to 5m in length and 2.5m in width. Our bending service accommodates lengths up to 7.8m, while our CNC machining is optimized for parts up to 60×60 cm.

Absolutely. As a full-service provider,NAILIPU handles polycarbonate film with a complete set of processes. This includes cutting, forming, drilling, finishing, and the application of functional coatings like anti-fog and hard coat to meet specific application requirements.

Absolutely. NAILIPU is backed by a team of more than 20 engineers, each with over 10 years of experience in the polycarbonate field. They work closely with clients to translate your concepts into functional designs and determine the optimal manufacturing process.

Our standard approach for automotive lighting prototypes utilizes a range of advanced prototyping technologies, including CNC machining, vacuum casting, and 3D printing.

Yes. NAILIPU leverages its expertise to deliver custom polycarbonate parts for automation equipment, from protective shields and inspection windows to specialized flanges and trays.

It is challenging to maintain tight tolerances when bending flat polycarbonate sheets, as cold bending typically results in a tolerance of around ±0.5mm. However, our engineers have developed targeted solutions to mitigate this risk:

Solution 1: After bending, we precision-machine critical dimensions using 5-axis CNC equipment.

Solution 2: Incorporate flexible mounting features into the design, such as replacing round holes with slot-shaped openings.

Solution 3: Bend an oversized polycarbonate blank and then trim it to the final specified size.

Regardless of the challenge, our engineering team is equipped to identify and implement the optimal approach to meet your precise dimensional requirements.

That’s correct. A sample requires us to set up and run a custom job for just one piece, which incurs minimum costs for both labor and materials. In bulk production, these initial costs are spread across thousands of parts, significantly reducing the price per unit.

For sample orders, we implement the following protective packaging protocol:

  1. The original clear PE film on both sides of the polycarbonate parts is retained to prevent surface scratches.

  2. An additional layer of clear PE film and 1.5mm PE foam is applied for shock absorption and collision protection.

  3. All samples are then secured within a 15mm thick white foam panel to mitigate impact during transit.

  4. The packaged items are placed in a sturdy carton and reinforced with packing string.

  5. Finally, the carton is sealed with a clear PE film to provide a barrier against moisture and humidity.

For bulk orders, we develop a customized packaging solution tailored to the specific order quantity and requirements.

Yes. NAILIPU has a subsidiary-NAILIPU, which is a leading supplier of machining acrylic service.
